[Split Psyche]

I get the feeling this art is personal, clearly representing a duality of emotions and suppressing them, putting on an appearance of happiness. That is just what crosses my mind when I see this. I like the simplicity of the black and white motif but I feel the brush used for the outlines, text and background masks at the top could use some stabilization and perhaps a glow effect, at least for the left side as it seems the white is supposed to be a sort of aura around the character. If the idea is for the lines to look wobbly, I would recommend another, denser brush and then turn down the opacity to have a uniform shade alone the entire line but still give it that ethereal appearance. I really do like the characters design and feel like the strongest linework is on the drawing on the right. I'd like to see this style experimented on and refined over time! Overall: interesting concept and character design, would like to see more experimentation.

Yeah it's a bunch of experimentation with the tools krita has. But yeah I'll find that sweet middleground eventually.

I personally prefer the one with the line art since it has their faces and the gaps in the colors cant be seen, but I feel if you were to clean up the lineless version it would look great. You have a good sense of depth and have a consistent light source on all the subjects in this piece so that really helps elevate its quality. The lines are a bit messy, which is not by itself a bad thing. I follow an artist on twitter who does fantastic sketchy looking art, but I feel if that is the style you want to go for a brush with some texture would help. I'm going to take a guess and say this is the "Darker Pencil" tool in Clip Studio with the brush density turned down a bit. The issue is that you'll end up with unintentional dark spots where the lines overlap and its transparency on every other line would make the silhouette hard to distinguish IF you had a background. Overall, very cute, great lighting, recommend textured, darker lines.

I can feel golden age comic vibes from this style. Infact, if you told me this was a screenshot of an old comic
or dnd expansion book I'd believe you. A trap a lot of hobbyists fall into is over complicating their line work making it hard to read at times, but nothing can be mistaken in this piece from a glance. Honestly I dont know what else to critique, the lighting looks great, gives great depth and I dont know if its intentional but i like that the color of the rock is reflecting off her skin just under her leg. People often forget light bounces and it makes the subject really feel like a part of the scene. Great work!

Line work is nice and clean, facial expression is clear, well-done. I'd say the airbrush highlighting on the hoodie is sort of distracting (particularly the highlights on the arm on our left) since the rest of the lighting on the head and legs seems harder, more cell shaded. Over all a good piece.

Nostalgic flash style. Reminds me of that one star wars rap animation.

A bit abstract, could use some context but as an abstract piece id say it looks interesting. I can see it looks like a life counter for a video game. Care to elaborate in the description what the concept is?
